Hey Mike it's Ski. I just read the book; totally inspiring. I hope that more of us can go from saying "What you did is awesome" to "Look how we are getting involved." It's easy to talk about christianity, it's easy to want to help, it's easy to think we'd lend our support if you came in our church on sunday ragged; it's even easy to write this little message about it all. But the bottom line is that we are all meeting people every day who have a need that we can fill, and it comes down to us to get it done.

I'm out in Stockton right now (nicknamed the armpit of California), and it's easy to dismiss the kids breaking into cars as troublemakers, or the single moms with 5 kids as promiscuous. I really feel though that God has a reason for me to be here, and I'm going to be looking for ways to bless others while i'm here.

Congratulations on the engagement! Hopefully you me and the other Parker guys can get together while were out west. Keep it real.

I just wanted to say how awesome the book was. I just finished it about 3-minutes ago. I heard you of FOF about a week or so ago (I take it it was a re-run ??). It took a while to get the book and I couldn't stop reading it. Very easy to read and extremely interesting.

I really have to applaud you. I've belonged to four different churches as I've moved around the country and most don't really teach the application of God's word although they teach what the word says. It's through understanding and insight that you provided through your book that makes a Christian life more real and provides purpose to those of us (me) who are not so creative in examining the needs of others.

I especially thank you for the to-do list at the end of the book.

Thanks again.
Your brother in Christ,
David Mansur
