Hello Everyone! :) I just finished reading Under the Overpass and I must say, I didn't want it to end, I wanted to keep reading and reading! I was so fascinated and encouraged!!

I just wanted to share how the book came to me:) A really great friend of mine and I have been discussing faith with each other every time we meet together. She feels like she is questioning her faith and I feel I have been discovering mine. Through it all we have supported one another! And so kindly, she is the amazing friend who gave me this book, because ever since I can remember I have wanted to work with the homeless and she figured it was a match. Without her knowledge, she didn't know that the book had a Christian touch to it! And as I read the book, I couldn't believe how much I could relate to it, especially with my latest discovery in faith and growth! And to just add a coincidence, my bookmark was a fortune from a fortune cookie I got the day I received the book. It said..."by reading a good book this month, you will gain new insight."

And I did.

Thank you for making such a wonderful book. It has taught me so much more! :)

I also just finished reading Under the Overpass. This was such uncomfortable, yet encouraging read. I happened upon this book by it being in my 20 year old daughter's book collection while she is out of the country for about 2 months. Both my daughter and her 22 year old son are Social Work majors in college, so I get the priviledge of happening upon special books like yours often.

This read was one that encouraged me to recommitt myself to adjusting my interaction with the people I come in contact with daily. I work in a substance abuse rehab for adolescent males, so I related with your interactions with those who come upon those "bumps in the road".

Thank you so much for sharing yours' and Sam's experiences.
