Hi my name is Kendra, I attend Wynford High School, I'm in practical english with Miss Taylor. I really liked your book, I never realized what homeless people go through living on the streets. What were some of the hardest things to go through on your long journey? How did you feel when you looked at the homeless people..did it bring back any memories of when you and Sam were homeless? and what kind of memories did it bring back, good or bad?

I'm renee and I totally agree. I knew that homelessness wasn't pretty, but i had no idea that it was soooooooooo bad, and such a big problem. I mean hundreds of homeless people in one city. WOW!! I live in Newfoundland where this isn't a big problem at all. I've never once come to meet a homeless person, but thanks to this book, i know what my reaction would be if i do. i would certainly try to help them as much i could.
I would like to know if there is anyway i could help in anyway when there are no real shelters or homeless people in my province?
