I just wanted to share what this book has done for us. The pastor of our church had been teaching at the shelter in Cincinnati for over 10 years. 300 homeless in one room. 1 or 2 would come down at the alter call, (My pastor told them to never give up, God loved them and that it was never to late to come to Him.) On one Sunday he told the missions leader he would not be back. Pastor was hurt, but more so at himself. He said he felt like he gave up on the people Jesus loved the most, the lost and the broken. I asked if he would read your book, now 7 months later, I here he is going back.

My wife and I are no longer at that church, it was a good church...from what I could tell, see, I have been saved for three years now. I was 30 years old and had never even thought about God, or church. My life fell apart. I had no where to go, but a place my mother-in-law had told me about a few years ago, "It was an Assemblies of God church that had the way to true happiness." soo, off I went. I was hooked from the time I walked in. I started a Royal Rangers class, my wife joined the worship team, and we both started a couples night. GLORY TO GOD I am just saying we was truely happy. Now, in the past 3 months, we steped out. Big time... We packed up, left our jobs, tied the kids to the roof of the car and moved to Springfield, Mo.600 miles away. My wife is now a student at evangel university, she is a psychology and theology major.

My new pastor is looking at the book and the youth leader is going this weekend to get him a copy. We are talking about starting a program here, and I know it has to be the Lords will, but I am hopeful...

Sam and Mike......Thanks.....

I agree with that this book is a very powerful book. it changed my perspective on the homeless men and women. From know on I will not look down on them. For a example when we went to visit my brother in texas at a Air Force base and see a guy asking for money infront of a hung mall I didn't even pay attention to him, I just walked passed him. I could of atlest said hi instead of walking passed ignoring him like he was nothing
thanks Mike
