My family has compared me to "failures" most of my life. last time I was compared to a homeless person. I spend most of my time alone because my social outings have been painful. I read the bible atleast 5-6 hrs a day & believe the Bible to be my best friend. I do not really want a travel friend because I am going into the homeless life to live not visit. I have tried to make friends but I do not have the skills to do that. one/four

i lived on the streets for 6 months. it's an experience i will never forget. going on the streets to live is something totally different than going to visit there. that decision needs a lot of prayer and consideration before being made. find a partner and visit, then prove your family wrong.

I agree with "aimk".

About a year ago, I lived approximately 6 months under a bridge in Salem, Oregon. It was cold and wet and rainy, on top of that, I sprained my ankle and had to use a wheel chair and chrutches to get up and down the trail to the bridge. I cried myself to sleep a lot, and I sang songs from church to help me relax. It's a scary place that I never want to be again. It was something that I will never forget, even if I fell and bumped my head really hard. It was hard finding food, and even harder trying to find a shower and a place to wash some clothes. It was cold. Oh, it was sooooo cold. No matter how many blankets you have, sometimes you simply cannot get warn. Aside from the physical stuff, the depression and lonliness was worse. I wanted to die. I wanted to get high and forget everything. Part of me wanted to commit myself to a mental ward. I got sick a lot and had no insurance. Now, I have hospital bills larger than I care to discuss.

You need to have a serious talk with GOD. If it's His will, well then go for it. But if you find that GOD has something more for you in store; don't complain. Our God is a great GOD and will never ever point you in the wrong direction.

Peace and Grace,
