What a powerful book. I was given this by a church member and finished it in a week. Wasn't to sure about reading a book by a Westmont student, seeing that I am a Biola grad. ;-) But since I married a Westmont grad back in 1977, I thought maybe the school could have more than one redeeming student. I was right.

As a pastor I have recommend this book as a 'must read for my congregation. So far I have 10 people desiring a copy.

We are frequented by the homless in our area and I was humbled and convicted that we mght come off as less than "christian" in our response to them. Hopefully this is not the case. We surely allow them to use our facilities, to wash, etc. and we have not chasec them away from services here, but there is so much more we could and can do. Thanks for being used of the Lord to communicate this truth to me.

May what you have learned, what we have learned, be never lost from our memories.

Thanks again and blessings! Pray that your engagement is a blessing as well. I sure love my Westmont grad.

Randy,

I was stoked to read of your churches reaction to the poor in your community. Thanks

Just finished the book (9/10/12). Inspiring, thought-provoking. Thanks. Now I have to figure-out how to turn all these thoughts and emotions into positive action.
