I read "Under the Overpass" in 2 days, I was blessed, convicted, and left with the question of where do I go from here? I am sure I am having the reaction that any christian should and would have after reading this well written testimony, where do I sign on. However, I need to make sure not to pack my homeless back pack just yet. I am a 38yr old women who is currently attaining her degree in social work, so of course this would effect me. I just want to serve!

"Where do I go from here?"

I also though about this when my school had finnished the book. From here maybe you could pitch-in in your neighborhood. For example: My class is going to help at a shelter sometime soon. Maybe you could even get more people to read the book.

I bought and read this book yesterday and feel like doing the exact same thing. I am a 22 year old woman who is also getting my social work degree and don't feel it would be the best idea to go out on the streets just yet either. I feel like GOd is leading me to do something similar, but I am not sure what that is yet. I guess I'll just keep waiting and praying!

But i live in a place where there is absolutely no homeless people and only once in a blue moon I go to a place where there is homeless people................My heart is soooooo broken I cant go and do what I really want to do.........and if I could just get the chance to I would be soo happy............Soooo what can I do?

I've read the others comments. Has there not been any interaction since the last? I would like to voice my thoughts on the book. If anyone is out there, please tell me how. OK, I'm a bit late but I still deserve an opinion.

I ma faced with the same question "where do i go from here?" I am 17 and getting ready to go to college. I want to have the same passion Mike and Sam had that led them to the streets, and I know that I am growing right now. I just don't know what that means to my life right now. There is a Rescue Mission by where I intend on going to college, and that is where my hope is right now. I don't know where the Lord will lead me, but I trust in His will, I know he will enable it, and I know He will provide for anything I need along the journey.
